the legislative branch is the congress which is the house of representatives and senate. this lets the senate confirm the presidents nominations. congress can impeach judges and remove them from the office to the judicial branch. they can approve any presidential nominations, override a presidents veto, impeach the presidents veto and remove him or her from office to the executive branch. the executive branch is the president which is the executive and cabinet departments. it can let the president veto congressional legislation to the legislative branch. also, it can let the president nominate judges to the judicial branch. the judicial branch are the courts which is the supreme courts, courts of appeal, and the district courts. they can declare presidential acts unconstitutional to the executive branch and they can let the court declare laws unconstitutional to the legislative branch.
